This is a belated message to say that we had an absolutely fabulous holiday, and to thank you both for all your efforts, especially for obtaining the Gorilla Permits, they were certainly a highlight for me. Dave is still enjoying all the birds he saw!
We'd also like to say how much we enjoyed having Emmy as a guide. He is a very good asset to your company. There was absolutely no reason why we wouldn't recommend him highly to anyone else coming to Uganda. His birding knowledge is excellent, his knowledge about Uganda is superb, and he has wonderful social skills. He went out of his way to make our holiday a special event, which indeed it was.
Whenever we have had an opportunity, we have told our friends how wonderful Uganda is as a holiday destination, even if you do not go just for the birding! Their eyes have been opened - Uganda is not a country we hear a lot about in South Africa, it is usually Kenya, followed by Tanzania. They have all been very interested in hearing our opinion, and looking at our photos. Hopefully a few of them will make the effort to get there in the future, I am sure they will not be disappointed.
We are hoping that one day in the future, we will return to Uganda to see the areas we couldn't visit this time. We wish Bird Uganda every success in the future, you certainly deserve it!
